Friends of the ARK a 501( c )( 3) organization will be selling these beautiful aluminum herons to sponsors for $100. Sponsors will pay a minimun of $200 to an artist of their choice for their creative talent.
The artists will design the art that will then be applied to the "blank" Heron.
We expect to have several completed works of Heron Art for the first "Hatching" in late May. We will introduce the Art at 4 more "Hatchings" in the summer and culminate "Herons Happen!" with a gala dinner and grand auction of the Herons in November, 2010.

Artists may download outlines of the herons here to use as a tool to begin planning their designs. Click the link(s) then right click the image and "Save Picture As..." to save it to your computer. Suggestions for artists are available HERE.
The "coloring book" images can also be downloaded below. These are fairly large images, so it is suggested that you SAVE these files to your computer and then place them into a page that is the size you wish to work with.
